Private-Sector Partners and Supporters Make a Difference!

Thank you!
Citi Presents Award to neighborWorks America

Citi awarded $250,000 to NeighborWorks America on June 10 to support the the NeighborWorks Center for Homeownership Education and Counseling (NCHEC).

Press release | More partner grant appreciation

Every day, the private sector plays an indispensable role in the success of the NeighborWorks® system. In addition to investments, services, products and volunteers, private-sector organizations provide direct contributions to NeighborWorks America and its network of 240 local organizations.

These contributions support grassroots operations, and increase the impact of NeighborWorks America’s grants-making, technical assistance and training. Moreover, these funds often underwrite the innovations that are the hallmark of the NeighborWorks system.

To date, we have assisted nearly 850,000 low- to moderate-income families with their housing needs.  In the process, we have enlisted remarkably active and diverse partners, including funders, stakeholders, homebuyers, homeowners, community volunteers and community leaders. In fact, NeighborWorks organizations provided services to home buyers and homeowners in over 4,000 urban, suburban and rural communities nationwide in the last five years. We invite you to help make a difference in America’s neighborhoods by supporting or sponsoring the NeighborWorks network.
