Chicago's neighborhoods invite you to explore America's culture, witness its history through tragedy and triumph, and experience the potential of neighborhoods nationwide.

Come join us at the NeighborWorks Training Institute in Chicago this August to take part in over 100 courses, network with your friends and peers, and participate in the community organizing symposium, which will focus on Organizing in the Face of Foreclosure — What Can Communities Do? (course #CB930)

Highlights of Chicago:

ALL NEW! May 17 Look for HO109el and get the Foreclosure Basics online! Learn the essentials of foreclosure at home, and then come to Chicago ready to add new skills in a wide variety of foreclosure focused courses.
Over 30 new or updated courses are available in Chicago! NeighborWorks training continues to grow and improve to bring you the best and latest in affordable housing, finance, building, organizing, revitalization, construction, home ownership, management and development.
The Native American Community Development program has three new courses for Chicago. Learn more about the Native American Community Development courses.
Take part in three courses coordinating with the Community Organizing Symposium in Chicago: Community Organizer’s Strategies to Promote Homeownership, Fight Predatory Lending and Prevent Foreclosures (CB240), Protecting & Restoring Neighborhoods in a Post-Foreclosure Environment — Customizing Interventions for Your Neighborhoods (NR231) and the Community Organizer’s Forum (CB704).
NeighborWorks continues its green initiative with 5 green courses including Green in Action: Chicago! (CP249).
And Chicago is a great city to visit with food from around the globe, world-class shopping, cultural venues from museums to the theater, a history that has influenced music and society nationwide and diverse neighborhoods.
